Remington Park is proud to present the second-jewel of racing's coveted Triple Crown, the 133rd Preakness Stakes from Pimlico in Baltimore, Md. on Saturday, May 17.
Join us early as Remington Park opens at 9 a.m. with the first simulcast from 'old hilltop' at 9:30 a.m. as the action gets underway at Pimlico. The Preakness is slated for 5 p.m. with Remington Park's live racing program underway after the Blackeyed Susans are draped over the winner, at 5:30 p.m.
The impressive, and undefeated, Big Brown will attempt to keep his Triple Crown hopes alive in the 1-3/16 miles event. The easy winner of the Kentucky Derby is trying to become the first Triple Crown winner in 30 years, since Affirmed won the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness Stakes and the Belmont Stakes, in 1978.
