Balloting is open and continues through the end of racing on Sunday, May 18 as fans and horsemen can vote to help determine the Top Horses in Remington Park history.
The current ballot, found in the Remington Park live racing program and printable off the homepage of remingtonpark.com, is for the Top Horses that have competed and won races during the first 20 years of the Quarter Horse/Mixed Breed season at Remington Park. Athletes represented on the ballot include American Quarter Horses, Paints, and Appaloosas.
You can select up to five of the horses offered on the ballot, each with a brief description of their local and career accomplishments. There is also space for write-in candidates.
Please fill out the ballot completely with your name, address and Lucky Circle Club information.
In order to properly track the balloting, with only one vote per person, we are tabulating the ballots through the Lucky Circle Club. Take your completed ballot to the Lucky Circle Club on the Casino floor, or to the Lucky Circle Horseshoe booth in the Racing Lobby.
You must be a Lucky Circle member for your vote to count. If you are not a member, signing up is simple and takes just a couple of minutes.
The ballots will be tabulated and the Top 20, through voting by fans and Remington Park management, will be announced during the racing program on Saturday, May 31.
A similar process will be conducted to determine the Top 20 Thoroughbred runners in Remington Park history, later this year during that season.
