OKLAHOMA CITY – Anticipation is running higher than normal as the 133rd Preakness Stakes approaches this Saturday. Big Brown’s dominating performance in the Kentucky Derby has led many to believe he will win the first Triple Crown in 30 years.
Remington Park offers the simulcast of the Preakness, from Pimlico in Baltimore, this Saturday. The big day as Big Brown goes for the second jewel of the crown, begins at 9 a.m. when the doors open. The first simulcast race from Pimlico’s big Preakness card is at 9:30 a.m.
All fans can watch and wager on The Preakness, available to Remington Park at 5 p.m. Remington Park live racing begins earlier this Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
Remington Park’s Fun Sundays continue throughout May with winners taking home a valuable $1,000 gas card, good at all Oklahoma City metro-area 7-11s. With the price of gas continually rising, the 7-11 gas card helps ease the cost burden this summer travelling season.
Friday night racing continues to rock with more great music and cool brew as Hoofstock continues this week.
Join Remington Park beginning at 6 p.m., outside at the Finish Line for Hoofstock. The top red dirt bands are featured each week along with ice-cold $1 domestic beer. The beer special flows from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the music starting at 6:30 p.m.
Featured this week at Hoofstock is Gatlin Gates. Hoofstock is sponsored by the Oklahoma Quarter Horse Racing Association.
Saturday Night Cash continues after the races on Saturday. You could win between $500 and $2,500 in drawings conducted on the casino floor beginning at 11:15 p.m.

The live racing schedule this week is Thursday thru Sunday as the 20th Anniversary of racing in Oklahoma City continues. Post time is 6:25 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Sunday with racing starting at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, following the Preakness Stakes simulcast.
Admission, Parking and Valet Parking are all Free at Remington Park.
You must be 18 or over to wager on horse racing or enter the casino floor. Those under 18 are welcome in all areas that are not the casino floor, while accompanied by an adult.
PREAKNESS DAY AT REMINGTON PARK
The Triple Crown continues this Saturday as Remington Park presents the 133rd Preakness Stakes, via simulcast, from Pimlico Racecourse in Baltimore, Md.
Big Brown, the undefeated and impressive winner of the Kentucky Derby, is poised to become the first Triple Crown winner in 30 years. He’ll face a small field of foes in the Preakness and will be heavily favored under jockey Kent Desormeaux.
Remington Park’s Preakness Day timeline:
9 a.m. – Remington Park Opens
9:30 a.m. – First race from Pimlico
5 p.m. – 133rd Preakness Stakes simulcast
5:30 p.m. – Remington Park live racing

FINAL TRIALS NIGHT OF THE SEASON ON SATURDAY
The live racing program following the simulcast of the Preakness on Saturday will feature many trials for the lucrative Graham Paint & Appaloosa Futurity.
The Grade 1 event will be conducted on May 31. The field of 10 will be determined through the timed trials, each covering 350 yards on Saturday night.
VOTING UNDERWAY FOR ALL-TIME TOP 20 HORSES
Remington Park will honor the Top 20 horses that have competed and won during the history of the track’s Quarter Horse season. Those selected will be announced on Saturday, May 31.
Fans can take part in the selection process by casting their ballot through the end of racing on Sunday, May 18. The ballot can be found in the Remington Park live racing program. Once filled out, turn the ballot in at the Lucky Circle Club.
Select up to five horses from the extensive list, or write-in horses that are not on the list. Fan voting will be included with consideration from a track management panel to determine the Top 20 from the history of the Quarter Horse season.
In order to properly track and count the votes (just one per person) voters must be members of the Lucky Circle Club. Complete membership details are available at the Lucky Circle Club, casino floor.
VOLKSWAGEN GIVEAWAY – MAY 22
Remington Park’s first car giveaway in some time is special in May as someone will win a 2008 Volkswagen Beetle on Thursday, May 22.
Sponsored by Cable Volkswagen of Oklahoma City, the ‘Love Bug’ will be won through drawings and racing on May 22. Guests earn entries into the electronic drawing by playing in the casino and on horse racing with their Lucky Circle Club card.

SATURDAY NIGHT CASH
Big money-winning opportunities abound after the races on Saturdays during the American Quarter Horse Season as Saturday Night Cash returns!
Stay with Remington Park after the live racing program concludes and proceed to the Casino floor. A series of five drawings will begin at 11:15 p.m. with selected winners gaining between $500 and $2,500.
Entries into Saturday Night Cash can be acquired by visiting the Lucky Circle Club and by wagering on the horse races starting at 6:25 p.m. Every time a wager is made with a mutuel clerk, the guest will receive an additional entry slip into the Saturday Night Cash drawings. The guest is required to fill out the additional entries, legibly, and deposit them into the proper drawing tumbler on the casino floor.

FUN SUNDAYS – $1,000 Gas Card
The summer traveling season is here and gas prices are rising at a record pace. Remington Park will offer some relief with our $1,000 Gas Card on Fun Sundays in May.

The Flower Power Hot Seats take place from 7-10 p.m. in the Casino.

Enjoy the sounds from some of the top bands in the Southwest during HoofStock starting at 6:30 p.m. during the races every Friday. Remington Park in conjunction with the Oklahoma Quarter Horse Racing Association presents HoofStock every Friday night for the remainder of the season, thru May 30.
The Wild Rush Stage music scene is plentiful on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The concert begins on Wednesdays at 7pm during Dollar Dates.
On Friday and Saturday nights, enjoy the concerts beginning at 9pm.
