OKLAHOMA CITY – Remington Park’s Memorial Day program of racing began with heavy rain and dark skies. However, after race two the skies cleared, the sun began to shine on those in attendance and Sell The Buggy remained perfect in her career, winning a $22,100 allowance in the final race on the holiday.

Owned and bred in Oklahoma by Dream Walkin Farms, Inc. of Norman, Okla. and trained by Sleepy Gilbreath, Sell The Buggy was ridden by G.R. Carter. The 3-year-old filly quickly took the lead in the 350-yard event and then held on to win by a neck over a hard-charging Separate Cartel. JJ Hitman was third.

Sell The Buggy handled the distance in :17.363 seconds over a sloppy track. She was 3-1 in the betting and paid $8.40 to win, $4.20 to place and $3 to show. Separate Cartel returned $9.80 to place and $5.40 to show. JJ Hitman was the beaten wagering favorite at 2-1 odds, paying $2.60 to show.
