OKLAHOMA CITY – Bring It On Dude, the Kip Deville Stakes winner, returned to Oklahoma-bred company and dominated his 11 rivals with a front-running romp in the $89,250 Classics Juvenile.

The son of Munnings from the Sunday Break (Jpn) mare Sundayville Break is trained by his owner and breeder, C.R. Trout of Edmond, Okla. and was ridden by Jareth Loveberry.

“I knew right away that they were going to try and put some pressure on him because he’s got speed,” Loveberry said. “I had to use him a little early but by the three-eighths pole he settled and they backed off of him and turning for home he opened up. When he turned for home I just kind of shook him up a little bit, he switched leads and had another gear.”

Bring It On Dude handled his 2-year-old rivals in 1:10.28 over a fast track. He finished 4-1/2 lengths ahead of Mr. N.

Strongly supported in the wagering at 1-5 odds, Bring It On Dude returned $2.40 to win, $2.10 to place and $2.10 to show. Mr. N, shuffled back early on, closed up the rail for second, paying $2.60 to place and $2.60 to show. Breaking from the 12 post position, Gonna Fly Away managed a nice rally after a wide trip to gain the show spot and pay $6.20.

Now a multiple stakes winner, Bring It On Dude adds $53,550 to his all-time earnings to move that total to $131,144.

This was the second straight year that Trout had saddled the winner in the Classics Juvenile. He sent Shotgun Kowboy to victory in the race in 2014.
