OKLAHOMA CITY – Remington Park completed the second night of qualifying trials for the $1,154,700 Heritage Place Futurity on Saturday night with All American Stone topping the time-sheet at 350 yards.

Owned by Rancho La Cobra of Jarrell, Texas and trained by Daniel Luna, All American Stone was ridden by Jorge Linares. The 2-year-old colt covered the distance in 17.657 seconds over a fast track in the seventh of 12 trials, winning by 2-1/4 lengths.

The trial win is the first from two career starts this year for All American Stone, who won his Remington Park debut. A colt by Captain Courage from the Eyesa Special mare I Opening Sensation, All American Stone was bred in Texas by S Bar S.

The five qualifiers from Saturday’s trials, with individual times and trial number, moving to the Grade 1, Heritage Place Futurity on June 3: All American Stone, 17.657 seconds (trial 7); Trace Dynasty, 17.720 seconds (trial 9); Hez Our Boy, 17.769 seconds (trial 3); PYC Fun N Fancy, 17.864 seconds (trial 9) and Descent, 17.931 seconds (trial 2).

The Saturday qualifiers for the richest horse race in Oklahoma, all faced a slight headwind ranging between 7-10mph.

Joining the five from Saturday in the Heritage Place Futurity are the five qualifiers from Friday night: Despain GL, 17.516 seconds (trial 1); Every Chicks Favorit, 17.683 seconds (trial 6); Bird Train, 17.686 seconds (trial 4); Olena Sangria, 17.687 seconds (trial 6) and Nymeria, 17.713 seconds (trial 4). The Friday group was aided by a slight tailwind between 8-14mph.

The Mothers’ Day program on Sunday afternoon May 14 will begin at 1:30pm and feature three American Quarter Horse Association Challenge Stakes and six trials for the $297,100 Heritage Place Derby.
