OKLAHOMA CITY – Jockey Ramon Vazquez continues his climb in the Remington Park standings, racking up three more wins on Thursday night.

Vazquez won the opener aboard All Behroozed Up ($3 to win) for owner/trainer Steve Asmussen of Arlington, Texas. All Behroozed Up won his second career race in a $20,000-level claiming race.

In the fourth race, Plum Gorgeous ($7.60) gave Vazquez his second win of the night in a $43,350 allowance race for Oklahoma-breds. Plum Gorgeous won the six-furlong event after a poor start, forcing Vazquez to rally her from the back and through traffic to get up for victory for owner Danny Caldwell of Poteau, Okla.

The riding triple was completed in race nine when Vazquez found the finish first on Cottonmouth Brown ($9.80) in a maiden claiming race at the $7,500 level, going five furlongs. Cottonmouth Brown broke her maiden for Jones, Okla. owners Beth Caster and Bryan Hawk.

The three wins pushes the season total for Vazquez to 32, second only to Richard Eramia who has 33 victories.

The 2017 Remington Park Thoroughbred Season continues with Oklahoma Classics Night on Friday. The $1 million night for Oklahoma-breds in divisional stakes company gets started at 7pm.
