OKLAHOMA CITY – Remington Park’s feature race of the week takes place Friday night with a field of 11 in the $100,000 Clever Trevor Stakes.

The Clever Trevor is the final Remington Park stakes event for 2-year-olds leading up to the $400,000 Springboard Mile in December, now a Kentucky Derby points eligibility race. At seven furlongs, Analyze This Jet will be turning back in distance in the Clever Trevor Stakes, after winning the $75,000 El Joven Stakes going one mile over turf at Retama Park in Selma, Texas on Oct. 14.

The 2-year-old Kentucky-bred colt by Overanalyze broke his maiden at Remington Park on Oct. 4, over a muddy main track in a race that was taken off the turf. He then won over the turf in the El Joven, pulling away to a 1-1/4 length margin under Lane Luzzi who has been up for both of his wins and will ride again Friday.

Analyze This Jet is one of four Clever Trevor entrants with two career wins. Land Battle finished second in the $75,000 Kip Deville Stakes at six furlongs on Sept. 24 at Remington Park, beaten a half-length. A gelding by Istan, Land Battle then returned to win an allowance race by a half-length while going 6-1/2 furlongs at Remington Park on Oct. 14 for trainer Scott Gelner. Jockey Shane Laviolette will have the ride on Land Battle in the Clever Trevor.
