OKLAHOMA CITY – Eton Ridge continues to win this season at Remington Park, regardless of who is training him. The 5-year-old gelding won his third straight race of the season on Tuesday, for his third different owner and trainer.

Now owned by Keene Thoroughbreds of Greenville, Texas and trained by Allen Milligan, Eton Ridge was ridden by Deshawn Parker. He scored in the feature, an Allowance/Optional $40,000-level claiming race at 1 mile-70 yards, winning by a half-length in 1:42.35 over a fast track.

Eton Ridge rallied down the stretch to get up for the score with He’s So Zazzy getting caught in the final yards and settling for second. Freestyler was along for third, 1-3/4 lengths behind the winner.

Away at 6-1 odds in the wagering, Eton Ridge paid $14.20 to win, $7.60 to place and $4.20 to show. He’s So Zazzy returned $6.80 to place and $4.40 to show. Freestyler paid $2.80 to show. Bold Conquest was the betting favorite at 5-2 odds, finishing ninth in the 10-horse field.

Eton Ridge was not claimed out of his victory. It marks the first time this season he has not been claimed off a win as he won out of the barn of trainer Clinton Stuart (owned by Sad Sac Racing) on Sept. 23. New trainer Steve Asmussen sent him to victory on Nov. 9 (for owner Maggi Moss) when Milligan claimed him for Keene Thoroughbreds.

Leading jockey Ramon Vazquez padded his advantage in the standings, winning three races on Tuesday afternoon. Vazquez won the daily double, scoring with Red Dress ($2.80 to win) in the first race and Fairwayngreen ($3.20) in the second race. Vazquez completed his triple, riding Paula With A P ($2.40) to victory in race five. Vazquez now has 68 wins for the season, 13 ahead of second-place rider Richard Eramia.

Remington Park racing takes Wednesday night and Thanksgiving Thursday off for live racing. Thoroughbred action resumes on Friday, Nov. 24 with an afternoon first-race time of 3pm. Saturday racing on Nov. 25 will feature the $75,000 Slide Show Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at one mile and the $75,000 Don McNeill Stakes for 3-year-old colts & geldings going one mile. Both races are for Oklahoma-breds. The first race on Saturday night is at 7pm. All times are Central.

Tracked by over 133,000 fans on Facebook and more than 9,500 Twitter followers, Remington Park has provided over $178 Million to the State of Oklahoma general education fund since the opening of the casino in 2005. Remington Park, home to the $400,000 Springboard Mile on Sunday, Dec. 17, is Oklahoma City’s only Racetrack & Casino, located at the junction of Interstates 35 & 44, in the heart of the Oklahoma City Adventure District.
