THE RP HIGH Q TEST RETURNS, $5,000 GRAND PRIZE TO WINNER

OKLAHOMA CITY – The 2013 Remington Park American Quarter Horse & Mixed-Breed Season begins Friday, March 8. The popular RP High Q Test will start the following week with big-money prizes awarded to top players.

The RP High Q Test is a free online handicapping contest that runs from March 16 thru June 2. The ‘Test’ challenges fans to make selections with cash awarded to the Top 10 finishers including a $5,000 Grand Prize! The player who selects the most actual race winners throughout The RP High Q Test will win a $500 prize.

Players in the RP High Q Test stay in the game as long as at least one of their selections finishes in fourth place or better in any of the three contest races conducted daily. If any selection finishes in the win, place or show pari-mutuel positions (1st, 2nd, 3rd) then the player will get ‘virtual bankroll’ credit for the amount of money the horse actually pays on the tote board. Those with the highest ‘virtual bankroll’ after racing on June 2 will be awarded prizes.

If a player’s selections fail to reach a top-four finishing position in any race, then the player may stay in the game if they have a Lucky Horseshoe, or lifeline, to utilize. Those that are knocked out can get back in the High Q Test once more Lucky Horseshoes are applied to their status, periodically through the course of the game.

Contestants must complete the High Q Test, through the end of the game on June 2, to be eligible for prize money. Those eliminated from the High Q Test, regardless of ‘virtual bankroll’ stature or number of winners selected, will not win prize money.

Registration for The RP High Q Test will start prior to the beginning of the Remington Park season, and will remain open until racing begins on March 31. Registration will take place at therphighqtest.com once it commences.

Players that register after the first race of the contest on March 16, will be allowed to compete but will receive no initial Lucky Horseshoe. Only those that register to play before The RP High Q Test begins will receive the initial Lucky Horseshoe for their entry.

The American Quarter Horse & Mixed-breed Season runs from March 8 and continues thru June 2 and marks the start of the 25th Anniversary Year of Horse Racing at Remington Park. Normal post time on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays is 6pm with Sunday afternoon racing offered at 1:30pm.
