PAINTED JOSY POSTS THE TOP FRIDAY TRAINING RACE TIME AT REMINGTON PARK

OKLAHOMA CITY – Remington Park wrapped up its second consecutive day of training race activity on Friday afternoon. Painted Josy came through with the top time of the day, winning the fourth event by a head.
Owned and bred in Oklahoma by George and Linda Carter, Painted Josy is trained by Tana Pace. A 2-year-old gelding by PYC Paint Your Wagon from the French Parliament mare Shes Josy, Painted Josy handled his 250 yard race in :13.51 seconds over a fast track, aided by a tailwind of 11 miles per hour.
Painted Josy received an American Quarter Horse Association Speed Index of 78 for the effort. His time was the best from 12 races overall. Training race activity will continue at Remington Park as horsemen and their athletes prepare for the start of the live racing season.
The American Quarter Horse & Mixed-breed Season runs from March 8 and continues thru June 2 and marks the start of the 25th Anniversary Year of Horse Racing at Remington Park. Normal post time on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays is 6pm with Sunday afternoon racing offered at 1:30pm.
Open daily at 10:30am for casino gaming and simulcast racing, Remington Park features the Bricktown Brewery on the casino floor. Admission, general parking and valet parking are always free at Remington Park.
