The Oklahoma Derby Hat & Bowtie Contest is back!
Guests will compete in the renewal of the Oklahoma Derby Day Hat & Tie Contest with hundreds of dollars in prizes available on the Track Level North. Contestants in the free event will compete on the catwalk from 2-4pm with the fashionable top five hats receiving awards, with three prizes going in the tie category. All taking part in the contest will receive a commemorative photo.
The Hat and Bow Tie Contest is free to enter to all guests 18 and older.
The Derby Day Wine Tasting Festival also begins at 2pm, located on Track Level-North. Guests, 21 and more, may enjoy tastings from Oklahoma’s finest wineries for just $10, receiving a tasting glass to keep. While tasting, enjoy the sounds of Bread and Butter! Proceeds from the wine tasting will benefit Remington Park Charities. The wine tasting takes place until 5pm.
Guests on Oklahoma Derby Day will be greeted by live music as they arrive in the Racing entrance with Brian Lynn Jones Duor in concert from 2-6pm.
These six stakes races join the Grade 3, $400,000 Oklahoma Derby and Grade 3, $200,000 Remington Park Oaks on Sept. 26:

– $100,000 Remington Green (turf)
– $75,000 Ricks Memorial Stakes (turf)
– $75,000 Kip Deville Stakes
– $50,000 E.L. Gaylord Memorial Stakes
– $50,000 Flashy Lady Stakes
Remington Park is always open for Casino gaming with simulcast racing offered daily at 11am. Admission and Valet Parking are always FREE at Remington Park.
