PYC PAINTED LADY POSTS FIRST OFFICIAL WORKOUT OF REMINGTON PARK PRESEASON

Horses continued to stream to the Remington Park racing surface Wednesday morning, on the second day of training in 2021. PYC Painted Lady posted the first official workout of the year as preparations continue for the upcoming American Quarter Horse, Paint and Appaloosa Season.

Trained by Randall Read, PYC Painted Lady moved 220 yards in :13.30 handily over the fast track at 7:15am. Jockey Uriel Cervantes was up for the drill as PYC Painted Lady seeks her second career victory once racing begins. In her six career starts at Remington Park, the 4-year-old Oklahoma-bred filly has yet to achieve a top-three finish. PYC Painted Lady is a daughter of Second Painted Sign from the Get Down Perry mare Get Down Jessie.

The Remington Park season begins March 4 and continues for 50 dates through May 29.
