Quarter Horse Season
Remington Park begins another year of winning racing action with the beginning of the 2025 American Quarter Horse, Paint and Appaloosa Season!
The 50-date season begins with an Opening Weekend of activity, Thursday, March 6 through Sunday, March 9. The first race nightly is 6pm, with Sunday racing underway at 4pm. All times are Central.
Important trial heats and stakes races highlight the first weekend of the season, including qualifying trials for the Grade 1, $200,000 (estimated) Oklahoma Paint & Appaloosa Futurity for 2-year-olds going 300 yards on Opening Night, March 6.
Friday and Saturday, March 7 & 8 are headlined by trials for the historic Oklahoma Futurity. The Grade 2, $500,000 (est.) Oklahoma Futurity for 2-year-olds at 300 yards will be contested for the 84th time. The top qualifiers from the two evenings of trials will move on to the final on March 22. The Oklahoma Futurity has been contested at Remington Park since 2006.
Sunday, March 9 has trials for the Grade 3, $200,000 (est.) Oklahoma Derby for 3-year-olds at 350 yards. The first Sunday of the season also features the initial stakes races of the season with the $75,000 Mighty Deck Three Stakes and the Grade 2, $50,000 SLM Big Daddy Stakes.
The Remington Park spring season continues until May 31.
Simulcast racing is available daily at Remington Park, normally underway by 11am. Admission and parking are always free at Remington Park where the Casino is always open!
