Extreme Racing, always one of the best attended days of the calendar year at Remington Park, returns in 2016, helping raise money for Remington Park charity partners. Extreme Racing Day 2016 is on Sunday, April 24 with the first pair-mutuel horse race at 1:30pm.

Extreme Racing Day 2016 will feature Camels, Ostriches and Zebras in racing action on the main track. The Dinky Donkeys, fan favorites a year ago, mark their return as do the Express Ranch Clydesdales.

The Extreme races will fall between the actual American Quarter Horse, Paint and Appaloosa races that afternoon. There will be an Extreme Race scheduled after horse races 2, 4, 6 and 8 on Sunday, April 24.

The Flying Pig Races will also return on The Plaza. The speedy-snouts will run on their own schedule throughout the day.

Fans of all ages will have the opportunity to meet the animals up close as they will be made available on the Plaza, just outside of Henry Hudson’s. The animals will arrive on Thursday, April 21 and stay throughout the weekend, leading up to Extreme Racing Sunday.

Remington Park will also feature many of Oklahoma City’s best Food Trucks on Extreme Race Day, available on The Plaza.

Extreme Race Day has become one of the top charitable fund-raisers of the year at Remington Park, with many local charities benefitting from the huge day.

Extreme Race Day is presented at Remington Park by the Oklahoma Quarter Horse Racing Association.

Remington Park opens at 10:30am for Casino Gaming and Simulcast Racing. The Live racing on Extreme Racing Sunday, April 24 begins at 1:30pm.

Parking, Valet Parking and Admission are always Free at Remington Park.
