45TH INFANTRY MUSEUM

A spectacular collection of military artifacts is housed at the 45th Infantry Division Museum in Oklahoma City. Exhibits in the museum present these fascinating objects to narrate the military history of Oklahoma’s own 45th Infantry Division of the National Guard, also known as the Thunderbirds. The museum highlights other aspects of American military history as well.

OKLAHOMA STATE FIREFIGHTERS MUSEUM

The Oklahoma State Firefighters Museum is home to many exhibits of the Oklahoma Fire Service, artifacts from the London Fire Brigade, a dozen restored fire trucks and artifacts from the 18th Century through the 20th Century. The Museum is one of the most outstanding facilities in the nation devoted to the preservation and display of antique fire fighting equipment and apparatus.

THE AMERICAN PIGEON MUSEUM & LIBRARY

The American Pigeon Museum and Library features several permanent exhibits including our collection of live birds! Weather permitting, the museum features twelve different breeds of pigeon. The museum offers the following exhibits: Pigeons in Wartime, The History of Pigeon Racing, A Shadow Over the Earth: The Life and Death of the Passenger Pigeon, Project Sea Hunt: Pigeons and the Coast Guard.

THE ZOO AMPHITHEATRE
