Annually the best attended race date of the year at Remington Park, Extreme Racing returns on Sunday, April 22, presented by the Oklahoma Quarter Horse Racing Association.
Arrive early as the Extreme Racing fun begins at 1pm with the American Quarter Horse races starting at 1:30pm.
Extreme Racing 2018 will feature Camels, Ostriches, Zebras and more, as they compete on the main track, between the actual pari-mutuel horse races. The Express Ranch Clydesdales will hold their annual 100-yard match race at 1pm to launch the big festivities. Throughout the afternoon, Flying Pig Races will take place in their own track/arena, located just north of the Plaza.
Extreme Racing will once again help raise money for Remington Park charity partners. The exciting afternoon of fun helps many great causes as the day has become one of the top charitable fund-raisers of the year at Remington Park, with many local charities benefitting. Throughout the day, please take time to visit the various charitable booths located inside on the north track level, to learn more about their missions.
The Extreme races will fall between the actual American Quarter Horse, Paint and Appaloosa races on Sunday, April 22.
Fans of all ages will have the opportunity to meet the animals up close as they will be made available on the Plaza, just outside of Henry Hudson’s. The animals will arrive Thursday, April 19 and stay throughout the weekend, leading up to Extreme Racing Sunday.
