FAVORITE IM PASSING B WINS OKLAHOMA JUVENILE

Im Passing B stayed undefeated on Saturday at Remington Park, winning his second career race in the $50,000 Oklahoma Juvenile. The event was for those who competed in trials for the Grade 2 Oklahoma Futurity but didn’t make the final of top 10 time qualifiers.

Owned by Family Racing and Cimarron Nursery2 of Homestead, Fla. and trained by Jorge Gonzalez, Im Passing B improved on a solid start to win the juvenile by a half-length under jockey Salvador Martinez. Away as the wagering favorite at 8-5 odds, Im Passing B crossed the 300-yard finish line in :15.523 on a fast track for a speed index of 88.

Famous Cartelcowgirl (9-2 odds) was second while Dance Hawl Gal (16-1) was third.

A 2-year-old colt by Freighttrain B from the Mr Jess Perry mare Splendifferous, Im Passing B earned $20,833 for his second win. He did win his Oklahoma Futurity trial on March 11 to begin his career. The young colt now has a total bankroll of $26,617.

Im Passing B was bred in Oregon by Chad Hart.
