Jockeys Isaiah Wiseman and Mario Fuentes haven’t made it to the winner’s circle much this season at Remington Park. When they did Wednesday night, they made it count at more than 50-1 odds in the third and sixth races, respectively.

Wiseman booted home Tizcolonelforce (57-1 odds) to his maiden win in the third race in only the gelding’s second career race, paying $117.60 to win on a $2 wagering ticket. A few races later it was Mogold Forme (58-1) who broke her maiden in the sixth in her third career start with Fuentes up. She paid $118 to win.

Tizcolonelforce a 2-year-old gelded son of Airoforce, out of the Gemologist mare Diamond Moon, defeated even-money favorite, Dan Golden, by three-quarters of a length in the third. The second-time starter from trainer Danny Pish’s barn drove to the wire with true grit, as Wiseman (who entered the night without a win this meet), outlasted leading rider Erik Asmussen to the finish in the one-mile race over a sloppy track. It poured buckets of rain throughout the day across Oklahoma City.

Tizcolonelforce paid $117.60 to win, $13.60 to place and $7.20 to show. He had run eighth in his career debut on Sept. 18 at Remington Park, losing by 20-3/4 lengths. The gelding had a good excuse in that loss, however, breaking in, getting out of the gate ninth in that field of 10. He still broke ninth on Wednesday night, but Wiseman rode him perfectly to get home first, passing eight horses along the way.

Tizcolonelforce cut into early fractions of :24.20 for the first quarter-mile, :48.75 for the half-mile and 1:14.62 for three-quarters of a mile. The winning time was 1:41.27. The winner made up two lengths from the top of the stretch to the wire to win. He is owned by Joseph Viviani and Gambo Racing of Dallas, Texas. He was bred in Oklahoma by Jeff Jeans and Eric Brandenburg. Tizcolonelforce earned $22,646 from the purse and improved to 2-1-0-0 lifetime. He was purchased from the Texas Thoroughbred Association Yearling Sale of 2025 for $2,600.

Mogold Forme was making her third career start and had improved from eighth in her career debut to finish second last time out on Sept. 24 here, losing to Texas Splendor by 9-3/4 lengths at 19-1 odds. She went off 59-1 in her career first start. Fuentes, who started the night with two wins from 57 starts this meet, ignored those stats behind the curtain and like a wizard, he drew away to win by two lengths in the six-furlong sprint over the sloppy surface.

A 2-year-old Texas-bred daughter of Miraculousmo, out of the Gouldings Green mare Golden Legs, Mogold Forme made every pole a winning one. She set internal fractions of :22.60, :46.30, :59.21 and then hit the wire in 1:12.54. She paid $118 to win, $18.80 to place and $5.60 to show, finishing well ahead of odds-on 2-5 favorite Express Success in the race.

Sarah Davidson was the winning trainer for owner and breeder Jamie Martin of DeKalb, Texas.

The win aboard Mogold Forme was the second score of the night for Fuentes. He also won aboard Donita ($4.80 to win) in the second race.

The toteboard-breaking win in the early races by Tizcolonelforce keyed an early Pick 5 payout of $2,234.90 for the 50-cent wager. The late win by Mogold Forme also was the cornerstone of some large payouts. The late Pick 5 was worth $2,842.30.
