REMINGTON PARK TAKING FRIDAY NIGHT OFF FOR TRACK MAINTENANCE
Remington Park’s 12-race program for tonight, Friday, April 11, has been canceled.
The decision was made by Remington Park management.
“After collaboration with the horsemen and jockeys, we are postponing tonight’s races,” said Matt Vance, Remington Park executive vice president of racing. “This action will allow more time for ongoing efforts to prepare the racing surface to the satisfaction of all who compete at Remington Park.”
Extensive track maintenance took place late Thursday, then overnight into Friday morning, and will continue throughout the remainder of the day.
The races slated for Friday will be made up as the season continues through May 31.
