It is once again time to dress your best and possibly win money for doing so.
The tradition will continue on Oklahoma Derby Day, with the famous Derby Day Hat & Bowtie Style Contest!
The best dressed festivities take place Sunday, Sept. 29. The contest is free and begins at 3pm on Track North. The Oklahoma Derby racing program, featuring the richest race of the season, the Grade 3, $400,000 Oklahoma Derby, also starts at 3pm.
The contest will feature $3,600 in prize money, ready to be won in four style divisions: Most Elegant, Most Creative, Best Bowtie and Best Couple. The top three contestants in each division will win prize money.
The Contest is free to enter (must be 18 and older) and runs from 3-5pm on Sept. 29.
Enjoy great racing with the Oklahoma Derby and Remington Park Oaks leading the way on the only Sunday afternoon of the 2024 Thoroughbred Season. Admission and parking are free at Remington Park.
