Extreme Racing 2023

Extreme Race Day, one of the most popular racing events on the Remington Park calendar, returns for the 2023 edition on Sunday, April 16. The action-packed late afternoon of winning, fun, food and more is presented in conjunction with the Oklahoma Quarter Horse Racing Association. The first race is at 4pm.

Extreme Racing 2023 will feature Camels, Ostriches, Zebras and more, as they compete on the main track, between the actual pari-mutuel horse races. Flying Pig Races will take place on their own track, located just north of the Plaza throughout the day.

In addition to the Extreme Animal racing, the regular horse racing will include extreme distances, long and short, not normally utilized. Many races will give plaza guests an up-close look and feel of the event, from start to finish.

Extreme Racing will once again help raise money for Remington Park’s charity partners. The exciting afternoon of fun helps many great causes as the day has become one of the top charitable fundraisers of the year at Remington Park. Throughout the event, please take time to visit the various charitable booths located inside on the north track level, to learn more about their missions.

The Extreme races will alternate between the actual American Quarter Horse, Paint and Appaloosa races on Sunday, April 16.

All fans will have the opportunity to meet the animals up close as they will be made available on the Plaza, just outside Henry Hudson’s.
